The position:

• Fill one of three positions in the staff of a comprehensive mental health center
• They need an adult psychiatrist for inpatient, outpatient, and consult liaison
• Affiliated with a large tertiary care medical center
• 450,000 people in the service area
• Inpatient 22-bed psychiatric unit at a second hospital campus
• Outpatient care at the center, averaging 15-20 patients / day
• Group has an autism center and support group
• Work with twelve well-trained psychiatrists and a staff of 17
• Acute inpatient care for adults and seniors
• Crisis intervention and emergency assessments
• Counseling for individuals, groups, couples, and families
• Substance abuse and addiction services
• Teach health science and EMT students
• Call is one weekend a year and 2-3 days a month
• Competitive compensation in the $230K range
